Appropriate Dress for Our Dances is best described as "Dressy Casual" --- Dress to Impress
Our aim is to provide a pleasing atmosphere for attractive professional singles in their 30's and up. To facilitate this atmosphere, we book our dances at facilities that meet the needs of New Singles in terms of providing the most convenient locations for most of our members, a suitable dance floor, a price that enables us to offer a reasonable admission on a regular basis, and most of all, an environment that is enjoyable to all that come.
The
atmosphere is enhanced when
our members come well dressed
and look like attractive
professional singles. We want
our members to be comfortable
at our dances, but poorly
dressed people diminish the
atmosphere and the enjoyment
of the dance for others. Therefore
we request that all members
come dressed "dressy
casual". It may be helpful
to keep in mind that, if you
want to meet someone attractive
and desirable, it is best
to make an attractive presentation,
yourself.
We discourage such apparel as tee-shirts, blue jeans, sneakers, shorts, and flip-flops. Don't let it be said about you that you "ain't got no class."
We encourage men to wear sport shirts and slacks, or a jacket and tie if they desire to make a better presentation.
